“Spent a wonderful week at Dennis Seashores this past October. The crowds had
gone but the weather was nice and the ocean beautiful. No swimming, but walking
the beach and watching the sunsets from the private beach were spectacular!
Cheaper rates this time of year and plenty to do without the traffic. Will come again
next Fall, or maybe even next spring.”
“Cape Cod Magic”
Travelled over from England to pent a week at Dennis Seashores (as part of a
beach / city vacation – spent 4 days in Boston) in a two bedroom cottage as a
family of 4. The cottage was comfortable, well equipped and beautifully decorated.
The cottage was in a community of about 30 cottages, but felt beautifully tranquil,
nestled in trees and just a short walk to a wonderful private beach. The cottage had
a small deck, an outdoor shower and plenty of room at the front for barbecues.
Do not come here for plush condos – if you do, you are missing the point. This is
a place to relax, get out the shorts and t-shirts, light the barbecues and spend lazy
days on the beach. There’s also cycle trails and boating nearby as well as plenty of
decent places to eat – just keep away from Rte 28 – gets very busy.
Whilst we travelled as a single family, it seems to be a place for family reunions,
with some people booking the same cottage for the same week year after year.
During the week we were there the other guests all seemed very friendly and
considerate, with children ranging from the age of 1 to 20. Our boys made friends
with 4 girls of a similar age, so they were happy!
We had good weather and had a great time – would love to come back to Dennis
“The best cottages on the Cape”
I have been going to Dennis Seashores for many years, since it was originally
owned by the Sewards. The beach is fabulous and the cottages are clean and well-
kept. You can’t beat the family atmosphere and the tremendous location. Overall
it was a wonderful experience. I will continue to summer there for many years to
“Well kept, homey, comfortable, well stocked cottage”
Just thought I’d let you know my husband and myself and my parents were very
pleased with the cottage we stayed in over the past weekend. It was a 2 bedroom
cottage and it was by far, the nicest cottage we’ve ever stayed in. It was stocked
with all the amenities you’d ever need and even had a fire place in the living area.
It was in a very convenient spot right across the street from the beach. I would
highly recommend Dennis Seashores to others and would definitely stay there
“I Love Dennis Seashores!!!”
My kids and I, along with my parents, have been going to Dennis Seashores for
5 years now and we absolutely love it! It’s amazing to me how the management
there (Louise & Andrea) NEVER forget a face.
There’s nothing like checking into the Windmill on day one and then seeing our
windmill friends, they
are very accommodating. I can say one thing… they must love their job. I’ve never
seen either one of them in a bad mood. No matter how much of a pain in the neck
we can sometimes be, they always have a smile on their faces and are there for us.
The private beach is great! We take all of our beach belongings down there one our
first trip to the beach and leave them down there until we are ready to go home.
It’s nice to know that nobody at Dennis Seashores touches any of your stuff.
We have recommended Dennis Seashores to our friends and some of them have
made the trip from New York and stayed there. They, like us, loved it.
We are all looking forward to spending another summer in the Cape at Dennis
Seashores and cannot wait until the 3rd week of July to do it.
“A Summer Memory”
Dennis Seashores is a place where time has stopped. A gathering place, where
families reconnect, share memories and create new ones! This was our second year
renting the same cottage and it continues to meet and exceed our expectations –
as a true BEACH HOUSE. The ocean view is magical; it transports you to anyplace
you want to be
